The Basic Chemistry for Children – 9-Month Structured Scientific Thinking Program introduces young learners to the foundations of chemistry in a simplified, structured, and engaging format.

Designed specifically for Afghan children growing up abroad, this course supports:

• Scientific curiosity

• Logical observation

• Safe experimentation mindset

• Academic preparation for higher science

The program is delivered live, four times per week, in a fully interactive format.

The goal is not memorization — but understanding.

Children learn to observe, question, analyze, and explain natural phenomena using age-appropriate scientific language.

Course Structure Breakdown

Phase 1 (Months 1–3): Introduction to Matter & Observation

• What is matter?

• Solids, liquids, and gases

• Basic properties of materials

• Changes in states (melting, freezing, evaporation)

• Safe scientific observation skills

Focus: Understanding the physical world through structured observation.

Phase 2 (Months 4–6): Elements, Mixtures & Simple Reactions

• Introduction to elements (simplified concept)

• What are mixtures?

• Physical vs chemical changes

• Simple reaction concepts (safe examples)

• Everyday chemistry in daily life

Focus: Connecting chemistry to real-life experiences.

Phase 3 (Months 7–9): Thinking Like a Young Scientist

• Cause and effect in reactions

• Basic introduction to atoms (age-appropriate explanation)

• Simple chemical symbols awareness

• Problem-solving through experimentation

• Safe laboratory behavior principles
